COVID-19 TESTING

Rapid COVID Testing in Lakewood

Need an answer today for symptoms, an exposure, or a flight? Walk into ContinuEM for rapid PCR results in about 30 minutes, with documented results for travel. No appointment needed, open until 11 PM weekdays.

COVID Tests We Offer

Test Best for Results
Rapid PCR Symptoms, exposure, fast answers ~30 minutes
Lab PCR (nasal swab) Travel documentation, confirmation 12-48 hours
Antibody (blood draw) Checking for past infection 1-2 days

Not sure which you need? Tell us why you’re testing, and our staff will match you to the right test at check-in.

When to Get Tested

  • You have symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, fatigue, or loss of taste or smell
  • You’ve been exposed to someone who tested positive
  • You’re traveling somewhere that still requires documented results
  • You’re visiting someone elderly, immunocompromised, or newly hospitalized
  • Your work or event requires it

COVID Testing for Travel

Traveling somewhere that requires a negative test? We provide PCR and rapid PCR testing with official documented results (your name, test type, date, and result) accepted for travel requirements. Tell us your departure date at check-in and we’ll match the test turnaround to your timeline.

What to Expect at Your Visit

  1. Walk in; no appointment needed. Please wear a mask if you have symptoms.

  2. A quick nasal or throat swab; antibody testing uses a small blood draw.

  3. Rapid results are ready in about 30 minutes. Wait on site or get a call.

  4. Test positive? Our doctors can evaluate you the same visit and set a treatment plan, including FDA-approved antiviral options when appropriate.

If You Test Positive, We Treat You Too

A testing site hands you a result. We’re an urgent care, so if you’re positive, our ER-trained doctors can assess your symptoms, check your risk factors, prescribe antivirals when they’re appropriate, and treat dehydration with IV fluids if you’re run down. One visit, answers, and care.

Severe trouble breathing, chest pain, confusion, or bluish lips? These are emergency symptoms that require calling 911, not a test.
