Is $149 the total for every visit?

No. It is the seasonal Basic Care visit price. A different care level or extra services can change the total.

When does the seasonal price end?

The published seasonal period ends November 30, 2026. Confirm current pricing if your visit is outside that period.

Self-Pay Pricing

September 1 to November 30

If you do not have insurance, the hardest part of coming in is usually not knowing what it will cost. Through November 30, a self-pay visit at ContinuEM starts at $149 instead of our usual $210.

You are seen by a physician trained in emergency medicine. We have CT, X-ray and ultrasound on site and a lab in the building, so most of the time we can tell you what is wrong before you leave rather than sending you somewhere else and calling you in a few days.

What you pay depends on what you need. There are three visit levels and we will tell you which one you are in, and what anything extra costs, before we do it.

Basic Care Visit

Provider evaluation, an exam and a treatment plan. Oral medication included. Colds, flu, stomach flu, sore throat, earaches, UTIs, prescription refills.

Moderate Care Visit

Everything in Basic, plus injections given in clinic. Allergic reactions and asthma, infections, strains and sprains, symptoms that are not clearing.

Complex Care Visit

Everything above, plus EKG, in-house labs and IV treatment. Chest pain, dehydration, dizziness, severe fatigue, flu like illness, head injuries.

Seasonal self-pay pricing is valid September 1 through November 30, 2026 for patients paying without insurance. Prices shown are the charge for that visit level and apply to in-clinic visits only. Payment is due at the time of service. Your final cost is based on the level of care and the services your provider determines are medically necessary. Imaging and X-ray, send-out labs, specialty testing, procedures, medical equipment, and medications and injections beyond those included in your visit level are not included and may carry additional charges.
