Why We Love Los Alamitos
We love Los Alamitos and its surrounding communities for many different reasons. Each city gives a unique perspective on how Southern California came to be and is diverse in its populations, landscapes, history, and attractions. Our offices are located near Los Alamitos and serve its community as well as surrounding areas.
Los Alamitos translates to “The Little Cottonwoods” in English and is home to many notable athletes and entertainers. As a part of Orange County, it’s known for its good climate and is a relatively smaller city for the area.
Many accomplished athletes grew up in Los Alamitos including many Major League Baseball players and Olympic medal winners. Like much of Southern California, the weather combined with the terrain makes for excellent training opportunities for nearly every sport.
Ranch style homes are one-level houses that became popular in the 1950s thanks to two architects from the area. You can see many ranch style houses in Los Alamitos and they became very popular in suburbs across the United States.
Coyote Creek is a natural border between Los Alamitos and Long Beach, adding to the unique landscape that makes Los Alamitos the land where those little cottonwoods once spanned.
