Why We Love Bellflower
We love Bellflower and its surrounding communities for many different reasons. Each city gives a unique perspective on how Southern California came to be and is diverse in its populations, landscapes, history, and attractions. Our offices are located near Bellflower and serve its community as well as surrounding areas.
Bellflower is named after the bellflower apple which is native to the once agricultural and now suburban area of Los Angeles county. It is southeast of downtown LA and was once rich farmland, now inhabited by nearly 80,000 people. While it might not be the farm country it once was, the history runs deep in this city and its community members.
The bellflower apple was one of the biggest exports of Bellflower, along with cow’s milk production back in the 1950s before the area became more developed and suburban. While the dairy farmers and apple growers may have moved, the apple certainly left its mark on the city.
A notable number of Dutch, Japanese, and Portuguese descendants settled in Bellflower, making it yet another melting pot city of Southern California. Today, there are still many people of Dutch heritage living in the area which you can see from restaurants and architecture while walking around town.
Bellview is one of the most densely populated cities in the United States today and houses many populated residential and commercial areas.
