Rapid COVID-19 Testing

At ContinuEM, we offer both nasal swab and rapid PCR tests with an on-site lab for quick results. Both tests are FDA-approved and can give you accurate results if you suspect you might have COVID-19.
The nasal swab test is recommended and can provide highly accurate results within 1-2 days. For this test, we will use a nasal swab to collect a sample from your nose. The depth of the swab is similar to an at-home COVID test and is not as deep as the nasopharyngeal tests.
If you need results sooner, we can perform a rapid PCR test. The rapid RT-PCR test is similar to a nasal swab test, but we’ll have results within 30 minutes.

A rapid COVID-19 test is ideal before traveling, giving you results within minutes. Do keep in mind that some destinations may require a PCR test, which we also offer. Patients are responsible for understanding the testing requirements for their destination.
